**Read quick information below on how to use Program, Course, and Other Tabs. Remember courses require completely separate proposals in the system.**  Special Topics courses are not continuous.

What we say and how we say it matters. Thus, accuracy of information submitted in Curriculog is of paramount importance for our catalogs.

    In Curriculog:
    Program, Courses and Other Tabs

    • ImportingFor new programs there are templates for guidance. Search for the word "template," to build your proposal.

    • Program Tab: Forms for all programs with courses, description of program, and objectives. Some programs may not have courses and a program form is still acceptable. New programs and shared cores are housed under this area as well.  NOTE: Shared cores with padlock symbol on proposal require a seperate proposal with that specific title of the shared core for changes. Shared cores update all programs, at once, that "share" the requirements.
    • 3 Sections of Importance within Program Proposals:

    1. View Curriculum Courses:  Where all courses (course bucket area) should be, including new courses to add courses to the next area of View Curriculum Schema. Can also import course(s) from a previous catalog.
    2. View Curriculum Schema:  Area will drive how changes will appear in the catalogs. It houses the cores/titles and courses that are attached to those cores/titles.
    3. Preview Curriculum:  You can print, see the clean version (blue pencil), and see the markup version (red pencil).  It is important to preview the curriculum as it would appear in the catalog.
    • Courses Tab: Forms for new courses, revisions, and low-impact for minor course changes, such as spelling errors and title updates.  E-catalog titles can be longer than the Banner titles. Course approvals should take place first prior to program changes.
    • Others Tab: Forms for policy implementation, policy updates, and college/departmental page changes in the catalogs.

Curriculog automates the process of curriculum approval, helping colleges and departments to approve course and program changes and improve communication about the curriculum across campus.

Training Guides: Curriculog and Acalog Training Guides

    Forms: Curriculum Forms

Special Topics (ST) Courses: Special Topics Guidelines, only offered one semester and are not continuous.

Curriculum Overview: UUC and UCGS Overview

Undergraduate and Graduate courses, programs, Curriculog forms, UMdegree, and Curriculog system related questions may be emailed to catalog@memphis.edu. Graduate e-catalog responsiblity is also housed in the Office of the Registrar.
